The old Laundry

We have been going to The Olde Coach House Cottages, Brockdish for over 20 years (sometimes Pump Cottage and sometimes the Old Laundry) and still can’t wait to get back there for our holidays once or twice a year. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and our hosts , Jackie and John, are always incredibly welcoming, thoughtful and helpful. The accommodation is very comfortable and has everything you might need including books and puzzles for rainy days. Our dogs, over the years, have all thoroughly enjoyed themselves after promising to be on their best behaviour!! We are looking forward to our second holiday later this year. We would strongly recommend Brockdish Holiday Cottages to anyone looking for an idyllic holiday.
Sincere thanks to Jackie, John, Rosie & Bella

Val, Pam, Suki & Dylan,

We had a wonderful two week stay and will definitely book again next year. Jackie and John are wonderful hosts and we were made to feel at home. Their garden is beautiful and sitting by the river was a joy. If you want to unwind and relax this is the place to be. The cottage was very comfortable with all mod cons and we both slept like lots. Even the weather didn't dampen our spirits and went out every day. You definitely get 5 stars from us. Janice and Phil

Janice Buckmaster,

Our stay at the olde coach house cottages over the years has always been wonderful. The warm wecolme we receive from John , Jackie and not forgetting adorable Rosie is commendable to them all.
As you drive through the gates the grounds open into a little bit of paradise which is beautifully presented.
The accomdation is very clean and presented to high standard with everything you need and more, also little extra touches from Jackie & John which are always appreciated.
Over the years they have become dear friends and our regular visits are always thoroughly enjoyed by all.
I would highly recommend this beautiful place to spend a tranquil and peaceful holiday with places to visit at your leisure.

Carol Sale,

Wonderful retreat!

Jackie and John are the most hospitable hosts you could wish to meet. Nothing was too much trouble and they have created the perfect holiday cottage with absolutely everything you could want! Lovely setting and beautiful grounds. We loved the village too and will have very happy memories of our stay there. Thank you Jackie and John, we'll see you soon!

Fiona Dancer,

Wonderful holiday - as always!
We have been visiting Jackie and John's cottages regularly since 1997 and have to say, hand on heart, they are our absolute favourite holiday destination. The cottages and flats are clean, tidy, well appointed and so relaxing. The large, private gardens lead down to the river and the village is surrounded by beautiful country walks as well as being within easy traveling distance for many tourist destinations in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and even Essex. There is still so much to see and do, that we will be visiting this home-from-home again and we know we will be assured of a warm, friendly welcome and more than likely homemade cream scones and a pint of milk in the fridge :-)

Kirsty Ferry,

Thank you so much, the cottage is charming and homely with everything we needed.
The gardens are so beautiful and we have really enjoyed exploring and meeting the swans.
Hope we can visit again, it is a truly magical place.

Sue Phil and Oscar,

Perfect could not fault, other than we should have stayed longer.
A very joyful stay. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. We have never stayed in a traditional beamed cottage before so that was an added bonus for us (the wife and two teenage daughters).Jackie and John made us welcome from the second we arrived. We all especially enjoyed their very large garden complete with its very own section of river. For us the icing on the cake was the wildlife which included daily visits by several groups of swans, hedgehogs, squirrels and a variety of birds including kingfishers. And the local pub ("The Kings Head") is only a couple of minutes walk away which serves great food and bake their own bread which you can buy to take home.

Graham Guernseu,

Another perfect week here, sorry to leave as usual. weather wasn't perfect but we didn't care.
Lovely days out on the beach with our dogs, they even had a dip in the river.
wish we were here longer, till the next time x

Debbie and Kevin Elliot,

Once again what a lovely week, Jackie and John it has been so relaxing, we really don't want to go home
to the rat race, or to leave you both, but we will be back in October.

Vic, Wendy and Bernard,

Jackie and John are brilliant hosts and have made their garden
into an amazing place to spend a week.
Just wish we were here longer but we will be back !!!

Steve and Karen Lightowler,

Jackie and John thank you both for being such wonderful and welcoming hosts.
The cottage has everything we could possibly want and in a very peaceful setting.
